One School ATL

ONE School is an intensive portfolio program designed to teach the creative skills required to work at the world’s top ad agencies and learn from some of the industry’s most awarded creatives. I feel privileged to have been one of the 15 individuals chosen for the One Club's One School for Black Creatives. Over 11 weeks, I engaged in a rigorous portfolio intensive, tackling 10 briefs across various executions to create a comprehensive presentation book.

Task: Come up with an Out Of Home campaign that gets budget conscious Gen Z and Millennials who want nice things for this space to think of Apt Deco as the first place to look.

Insight

Shopping for used furniture is akin to visiting an amusement park, where each piece offers a unique adventure and a multitude of options, creating an exciting journey in furnishing your space.

Idea

Elevate your space with pieces that go beyond function – they create a playground of joy. Choose not just furniture but the ingredients for a personalized adventure in every corner of your home.

OOH billboards that express the amusement of used furniture shopping.

Pedigree

Task: Come up with an innovative idea/product that helps dogs get adopted.

Insight

Occasional detours and re-routes in life can unexpectedly lead to transformative discoveries, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the journey and the potential for positive, life-changing outcomes.

Idea

Because sometimes, the best detours lead to life-changing moments with a new four-legged companion.

Execution

A feature that guides you through local dog shelters on your way home, turning your commute into a chance to discover furry friends waiting for a forever home.

WNBA x NIKE

Task: Come up with an experiential idea for Nike that encourages young girls to get into basketball.

Insight

The emphasis on external beauty in social media overshadows the recognition of young girls' internal beauty, fostering a disconnect between self-perception and societal expectations.

Idea

Let’s empower young girls with sports and fun while inspiring career opportunities that aim to celebrate their inner beauty and set the stage for a fair and bright future

Execution

Curated games geared to empowering young girls voices and enlightening young girls on their inner beauty.

  1. The Shout Clock - test your projection! How big is your voice in a crowd of noise?!

  2. Whack-A-Ball - test your strength by measuring your physical impact!

  3. Maskot Muse - test your creativity by designing a mascot, it could be the future! 

  4. Room of Reality - see how tall you really are! Room of reality is a room full of mirrors enlarging the girls body to appear taller than usual, implying the external height doesn’t reflect the height of your character!
